A little bit about me: One year ago I was sitting in a posh office in downtown London, about to start my life in the business world. And then catastrophe struck: I downloaded an MP3 onto my computer at work. Harmless, don't you think? Two days later I found myself fired, fined, and jailed. Collateral damage of the digital age.
So here I am, living to New York City with my childhood friend Henry, making a go of it in the blogosphere. Enjoy the posts, and feel free to drop me a line!

A little bit about me: Hello, Internet! It's me, Henry Scott. You've probably heard of me. If not, here's a primer. I've been a stand-up comedian in London for the past few years, before I realized my true calling: blogging. I didn't like the comedy world much anyway. Too many agents. I hate agents. In November 2005 me and my best buddy Mark packed up for New York City, and here we are, proud parents of BathTubYoga. What else? I like Ginkgo Biloba and Ginseng, and women love me.

It's been a busy few days and I'm tired like Mark after the latest Goon Show marathon. I hope none of you out there think it's easy working the 9 to 5 in the blogging industry. The main problem I find is that once you're tuned into the tiniest details of everyday existence, things start to really piss you off. It's kind of like being Larry David, except without the millions of dollars and hot wife to make it less depressing.
Yesterday, I forced myself to get a great jump on the day by scheduling a coffee date at 10am with Maya, this girl I know who's "in fashion." I've realized that this last phrase gets tossed around a lot in New York, but is rarely challenged. Anyways, Maya's one of these Manhattan socialites who drops the names of clubs and celebrities with mind-numbing frequency and wears the front of her hair in a way that looks both retarded and pretty attractive.
After that, I returned to my room, drank what an American friend calls "South Central car bombs" (40s and Gatorade) and surfed the internet. Two great blogs I reintroduced myself to this afternoon: The Backpage: Gritz's work combines the lyrical flow of a Whitmanian prose-poem with the sheer pleasure of jerk-deuce. He's something of an inspiration. Cheddar Ted: This blog defines heart and contains a number of incredibly funny lines that I'm sure I'll be telling to my grandchildren, maybe before they're old enough to be offended or really even understand.
Alright, that's all for now, everyone. "Stay up."
