A little bit about me: One year ago I was sitting in a posh office in downtown London, about to start my life in the business world. And then catastrophe struck: I downloaded an MP3 onto my computer at work. Harmless, don't you think? Two days later I found myself fired, fined, and jailed. Collateral damage of the digital age.

A little bit about me: Hello, Internet! It's me, Henry Scott. You've probably heard of me. If not, here's a primer. I've been a stand-up comedian in London for the past few years, before I realized my true calling: blogging. I didn't like the comedy world much anyway. Too many agents. I hate agents. In November 2005 me and my best buddy Mark packed up for New York City, and here we are, proud parents of BathTubYoga. What else? I like Ginkgo Biloba and Ginseng, and women love me.

You see, this is why I love blogging. I can write about anything I please, whenever I please. Right now I would like to direct you, my loyal readers, to Rocketboom, a Monday-Friday newscast of sorts hosted by the lovely Amanda Congdon. Miss Congdon is a pleasure to watch, both for her professionalism and her, how shall I put this delicately, easiness on my eyes. My new goal as a professional blogger is to"randomly" meet her in a bar in Brooklyn and go back to her flat. Then she will mention me and BathTubYoga the next morning on Rocketboom.
Unfortunately, these are just dreams for now, but Rocketboom is the real deal. Having recently celebrated its one-year anniversary, Rocketboom just keeps getting bigger and better, even featuring in Steve Jobs' recent Video iPod press conference. Will Rocketboom get bought out like myspace? I'm not sure, but I know I'll be following that story very closely while the site continues to attract new viewers and change how people look at the internet.
The best thing about Rocketboom, however, is that it shows that there's hope for all of us really. They still film each episode in Andrew Baron's Upper West Side apartment and don't use much more equipment than a digital video camera and a laptop. Henry and I have all these ingredients for success, and we're already professional bloggers! So what is gonna stop us from becoming the next internet success story? Well, not having an attractive woman might make a difference, so if you are reading this Amanda, you have a new job offer.
